ABOUT GABRIELLE "ELLE"
Based in Chicago, I am a queer artist with a deep passion for both the timelessness of film and the precision of digital. My work is a constant exploration of emotion, and I am most at home in the world of black-and-white. I use dramatic lighting not just to illuminate, but to sculpt the mood and reveal the profound story that lives in the shadows.

For me, photography is the art of preservation—a way to make a memory tangible and hold an emotion still. This belief is the foundation of my practice, from client work to my own self-portraits, which serve as a space for genuine expression and creative experimentation. My goal is to create images that feel honest and true, capturing the authentic spirit of the person before my lens and transforming it into a lasting piece of art.

I'm also passionate about helping members of the LGBTQ+ community feel comfortable in their skin and promoting empowerment and body positivity.
